Since then, he’s seen this group multiply so much so that he says he now pastors two churches – a traditional one in a building and one underground meeting as a network of small groups.

Beyond this, Ezekiel and members of his church have engaged in other kinds of outreach to their community. For example, they provide computer training for people with disabilities. Along with the computer training, students can learn English, receive music lessons and participate in Bible studies.

A young man who was about 20 years old came in for computer lessons a few months at a time and then would return home to his village for several weeks before returning. He usually participated in Bible studies while taking computer classes. After his breaks at home, he often returned with a number of Bible-related questions.

One day during class, he stopped to pray according to the customs of his religion. In the midst of his praying, he started to cry and roll on the floor.

“We tried to calm him down,” explains Ezekiel. “We started to ask him, ‘What happened to you?’ And then he said, ‘Well, when I was praying, I saw Jesus come to me and he said, ‘I am the way. I’m the one that you look for.’”
